Q: How long can I store my fresh seafood in the freezer?
A:
It is recommended that you store any cooked shellfish in the freezer
for no more than 3 months (and “cooked” is a keyword!).
You can freeze oily fish and smoked fish for about 3 months, as
well. Non-oily fish can be frozen for 4-6 months. Oysters should
only stay in the freezer for 6 weeks or less.
